Summary
The QA Technician safeguards Degelmans product quality through floor-level inspections, process audits, and NCR investigations. Collaborating across production, engineering, and supply chain teams, this role identifies quality gaps and drives CAPA to ensure every customer receives reliable, field‑ready equipment.

Responsibilities

Capture quality information, such as control plans, receiving, FPI audits, PDI data.

Respond to NCRs within 1–2 business days, coordinating containment and disposition (repair, replacement, or use‑as‑is decisions).

Lead RCA on NCRs with production, engineering, and vendors. Document and implement CAPA.

Analyze NCR and KPI trends to identify systemic risks; elevate to QA Lead with supporting data.

Make quality status visible, maintaining reports and KPIs.

Maintain and perform process audits to ensure quality standards are consistently met and CAPA remain effective.

Perform routine calibration and documentation for all measurement tools.

Support continuous improvement throughout the company.

Required

Good understanding of manufacturing processes and ability to read engineering drawings.

Good interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills. Able to deliver quality decisions calmly and clearly under production pressure.

Experience with Microsoft Office.

Enjoy problem‑solving mechanical issues and developing practical solutions.

Preferred

Education in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.

Experience with QMS and CAD software.

Experience with RCA methodologies.

Skill in the use of inspection instruments (Calipers, Micrometers, CMM).

Good understanding of lean manufacturing.

Work Conditions

Travel:
Occasional; not a regular part of the role.

Hours:

Mon‑Fri, standard 8‑hour days. Flexibility required for job needs.

Term:
Full‑time, permanent.
