Be a key contributor as an API Visual Inspector with Acuren in the 2026 Fall Turnaround at CNRL Horizon, Fort McMurray. Utilize your API 510/570 expertise to ensure quality inspections.
The temporary full-time position, available from August to mid-October 2026, involves thorough inspections of pressure equipment and related assets. Work closely with a skilled inspection team to guarantee adherence to industry codes, standards, and project specifications. Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor ongoing work for adherence to specifications
• Inspect and verify pressure equipment and piping systems
• Document and report inspection findings accurately
• Review scope packages and specifications for compliance
• Collaborate to rectify quality deficiencies promptly
Requirements:
• API 510 and API 570 certifications mandatory
• Preferred ABSA In-Service Pressure Equipment Inspector certification
• Relevant quality control experience in turnaround projects
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance
