Store Manager at The Shoe Co.  reports to the District Manager and leads the store to achieve objectives across in-store sales, web orders, recruiting, performance management, training, and development. Success depends on problem-solving, thriving in a fast-paced environment, team leadership, and execution of operational excellence.
Key responsibilities   Assumes leadership with accountability for maximizing store business results by consistently creating exceptional customer experiences.
Facilitates achievement of business results by modeling a shopping experience that emphasizes responsive customer service, compelling merchandise presentation, and operational integrity to foster customer connections and loyalty.
Leads an operationally sound business by balancing company policies, procedures, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling.
Recruits, manages, develops, and trains top talent who have a love of shoes.
Aims to achieve company objectives and enhance The Shoe Co. brand image by modeling values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity/Humility.
Develops and implements agile business plans to achieve results.
Fosters teamwork, collaboration, and change advocacy within the store and district.
Maintains effective, open lines of communication with senior operational managers.
Qualifications   Educational background: relevant post-secondary education.
Minimum 4 years of experience in a progressive retail supervisory role.
Proven success in achieving sales and profitability targets in large-volume, top-door environments.
Positive, energetic team player with strong leadership capability.
Proven ability to motivate others.
Proficiency with computer use, including email, word processing, and spreadsheets (e.g., Excel).
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while delivering a compelling customer experience.
Ability to work day, closing shifts, and weekends.
Mobile within a geographic area.
