Customer-Focused Meat Clerk

Be a key part of Safeway Grocery Store's team in Regina as a Customer-Focused Meat Clerk. Deliver attentive service while managing quality meat products in a dynamic environment.

This role requires you to expertly manage the receiving and displaying of meat products while maintaining food safety standards. With your experience and technical skills, you'll package and label products, rotate stock, and support the sales team by suggesting items to customers. Key Responsibilities:

• Store and handle merchandise following safety practices

• Advise customers on product selections and cooking tips

• Maintain cleanliness in work spaces and displays

• Update product prices and oversee rotations

• Monitor and remove expired or damaged products

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Six months experience in meat handling

• Strong communication and resourcefulness

• Flexibility in working hours

• ITHQ certification is a plus
