Step into the crucial role of Storekeeper Helper II with Co-op, managing inventory and supporting the Stores team. Your efforts ensure that all necessary items are dispatched timely and efficiently.
This position involves working under the Stores Supervisor, focusing on shipping, receiving, and keeping detailed transaction records. The role demands active participation in physical inventory assessments and managing consumable item stock levels. A keen mechanical aptitude and good communication skills will support your contributions to the Maintenance and Reliability department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle shipping and receiving of all goods
• Manage inventory and consumable item dispensing
• Maintain precise transaction records in Stores
• Take physical inventory as requested
• Issue and maintain PPE program documentation
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 including math and sciences
• Strong mechanical skills related to tools and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform physically intense activities
• Understanding of inventory management principles
