• Be responsible for the day-to-day execution of tasks and may be involved in the planning for the direction of the department.
• Achieve budgeted goals related to sales, margin, expenses & inventory and execute sales strategies that support the Sherwood Co‑ops vision.
• Achieve established objectives in terms of brand, service, quality and timeliness of delivery and identify areas for improvement.
• Assist in recruitment, training, development, coaching and motivating the department team while fostering a positive work environment that enables the engagement of all team members in the pursuit of desired results.

• A minimum of three years of retail management experience.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a special skill of motivating employees to achieve strong results.
• A solid understanding of computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
• Analytical and organized; committed to producing quality work.
