This Sales Consultant position focuses on promoting Sysco's products and services, building customer relationships, and achieving sales and profit goals within an assigned territory. This role may require working non-traditional hours to meet customer needs.

• Prospect and qualify leads based on company account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and develop tailored product and service solutions.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend relevant products.
• Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors.
• Answer customer inquiries about products, pricing, availability, and usage.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
• Drive to customer accounts, conventions, and meetings.
• Manage accounts receivable, working with the credit department.
• Manage deliveries and troubleshoot order issues.
• Participate in company functions, promotions, and customer events.
• Attend sales and district meetings.
• Engage in ongoing training.
• Assist with training new employees.
• Review and analyze sales reports and data.

Bachelor's degree in related discipline or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
