What you’ll do:

The Lumber Sales Representative effectively communicates and promotes the value of local Co-op goods and services to current and potential customers in support of organizational sales and financial objectives. This includes:

Being responsible for a customer base within an assigned market area by executing sales programs to meet and/or exceed budgeted sales and margins.

Works closely with the sales support teams to ensure commitments are met in a timely manner.

Develops new client relationships and business, by targeting customers with whom the local Co-op can profitably do business and elevating the local Co-ops’ presence in the industry.

Carries out all administrative, technical and reporting aspects of sales activities, including preparing and administering sales contracts; maintaining customer records; and ensuring accuracy of sales data.

Provides input to product and service offerings based on customer feedback and interactions and remains up to date on current market trends.

Other duties as assigned.
