Security Guard

In partnership with Pasqua First Nation, Canadian Security Management is looking for Part Time and Full Time Security Guard to join our team in Regina, SK.

CSM is currently hiring for security at a mine site outside of Bethune. The Security Guard is responsible for protecting the client and assigned property from any criminal activity or trespassing.

The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication, be efficient in utilizing a computer such as Microsoft Word or Excel. Excellent observational skills and previous surveillance experience, preferably in a law enforcement environment. This person should have the ability to remain calm in high‑pressure situations while exhibiting patience and a superb attention to detail.

• 7 days on / 7 days off, 12‑hour shifts
• Uniform is provided
• Starting wage $18.00 per hour, raise and benefit package after a 3‑month probationary period, pending acceptance for a permanent position
• Travel allowance provided

• Surveillance – patrol the grounds or buildings as assigned, regularly. If suspicious activity is detected, refer to the local authorities. Review surveillance cameras and monitor crowds as needed. Establish and review the identification required to enter the building or property. Verify all doors, windows, and gates are secure on the property on a rotating schedule. Escort released employees off the property as well as any other trespassers.
• Investigation – respond to any alerts of suspicious activity. If a person is under suspicion of criminal activity, secure the environment and person, and report to the local authorities. Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Customer service – create access cards for people coming onto the site. Orientation for current workers, D/A testing.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 40‑hour security guard training certification / SK Security Guard Licence.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Class 5 SK Driver’s licence.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• WHMIS certification.
• CSA approved steel‑toe work boots.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
