Work Hours

• Weekdays 23:30-09:30, 15:00-00:00
• Weekends and non-school days 08:00-20:00, 09:00-21:00, 10:00-22:00, 11:00-23:00, 12:00-00:00, 23:30-11:30

We are looking for a Youth Care Worker / Personal Support Worker who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children, youth, and adults with complex needs. In this role you will help create a safe, nurturing, and structured living environment and support participants to grow, thrive, and reach their full potential. You will provide both emotional and physical support while serving as a positive role model and engaging in all aspects of the group living and person-centered experience.

• Shift rotations with 3 to 5 day breaks
• Evening, weekend, and overnight shifts for flexibility to attend classes, coordinate childcare, and have time for outside interests
• Build genuine relationships with children, youth, and adults with complex challenges
• Fast paced environment with community activities such as swimming, hiking, fishing, and events
• Earn valuable experience in social, community, and education services

Education and Professional Certification

• High school diploma
• Certificate, diploma, or degree in Child and Youth Care, Disability Support, or related field is an asset

Experience

• At least 1 year working with children, youth, or adults with behavioral, cognitive, mental health, or developmental challenges

• Provide compassionate support to individuals with complex needs, fostering a safe and nurturing environment

• Complete documentation and reports accurately to meet agency standards

• Perform other related duties as needed to support participants and the team
• Complete all mandatory training requirements per agency policy
• Hold a class five (5) novice two (2) or higher driver's licence and be eligible for coverage under commercial auto insurance
• Work in a shift-work environment operating 365/24/7

Starting at $25.06 per hour, depending on experience.
