Position: Caseworker for Youth Housing at JHSS
Location: Moose Jaw

Empower youth in housing situations with the John Howard Society of Saskatchewan as a casual Caseworker. Utilize strong case management and crisis support skills to enhance the well-being of participants.

The John Howard Society’s Poplar Place program seeks a dedicated Caseworker to assist in service delivery and supervision of youth. You will implement a client-centered approach while providing stabilization and community connections. This role requires flexibility and understanding of socio-economic challenges faced by participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to program guidelines by participants

• Implement individual case management strategies

• Connect participants with vital community resources

• Support participants through stabilization and crisis

• Promote positive behavior and self-help strategies

Requirements:

• Secondary education or related degree is desirable

• Minimum one year experience addressing socio-economic issues

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Must possess a valid Saskatchewan Driver’s License

• Knowledge of First Aid is beneficial
