Helping clients receive services over the phone and in person.

Engaging clients in beneficial activities.

Client evaluation and information gathering

Providing information and assistance to clients and their families.

Making contact with and referring to other agencies and services

Keeping accurate records and creating reports

Attending training, supervision, and meetings.

Keep an eye out for signs of child abuse.

Offer crisis intervention.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required.

Working experience with clients affected by issues such as neglect, child abuse, domestic violence, mental health issues, and parental substance abuse.

Capability to pay close attention to what social service clients say, understand their points, ask questions, and not interrupt inappropriately.

Understanding others' reactions and why they react the way they do.

Ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of various social service and health‑care interventions and select the best one.

Capable of performing a variety of tasks on a computer.

Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills are required.

Ability to remain calm and empathize with upset clients.

Clinical social worker with a license.

Capable of developing a treatment plan.

Terms of Employment:

Permanent Position

30 to 48 hours per week
