The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of the Housing Matters Program within the philosophy and vision of Circle Project. Main duties include assisting participants to gain/maintain safe housing & provide opportunities for participants to actively engage in self-development in cultural & community activities. Other duties include maintaining working knowledge of relevant community resources, supports and building healthy relationship with community members and partners.

The successful candidate must be professional, reliable and display a good attitude in the workplace. The candidate is required to be flexible in their schedule including the ability to work some evenings or weekends, if needed. They will work to reduce the risks of homelessness in our Community including homelessness associated with family violence. The Housing Staff will provide support and programming to ensure the individual builds the skills necessary to maintain their housing and reduce the risks of re-entering homelessness working to permanently end their homelessness.

QUALIFICATIONS

Training and/or degree in the Human Services area.

Minimum of one-year relevant combined knowledge and/or experience in working with vulnerable individuals and the Indigenous community.

Demonstrated skills in case management and an understanding of outcome-based evaluation.

Able to work in a fast-paced team environment with strong multitasking abilities.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Must hold a valid drivers license and have a reliable vehicle.

Criminal records check with a vulnerable sector check MANDATORY.
