Part-Time Addiction Worker

Join the Metis Addictions Council of Saskatchewan Inc. as a part-time Addiction Worker in Regina. This role emphasizes client health, safety, and transportation across community activities.

As an Addiction Worker with MACSI, your main responsibilities will include monitoring clients' needs and implementing treatment plans under the guidance of counselors. You'll supervise daily activities, assist clients with household duties, and ensure the cleanliness of the facility while also providing vital crisis support. The position operates on a temporary part-time basis with specific evening and weekend hours, leaving every third weekend off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor clients' physical and emotional needs dynamically

• Implement treatment plans under counselor guidance

• Supervise client household participation and duties

• Transport clients to programming and appointments

• Prepare and serve meals according to schedules

Requirements:

• High school education (Grade 12) required

• 7-11 months of relevant experience necessary

• Valid CPR/Safety and Food certifications needed

• Current driver’s abstract and criminal check required

• Ability to provide basic crisis intervention and support
