This full-time, permanent role centers on supporting women in a high-acuity setting. You will collaborate with a committed team to ensure safe operations while addressing the complex needs of shelter residents. A combination of education and experience in social work or similar fields is required, along with a deep understanding of Indigenous issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality support and resources to residents
• Create and monitor individualized care plans
• Document resident progress and support operations
• Offer crisis intervention and trauma-informed care
• Collaborate on advocacy efforts for residents' needs
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or similar
• Minimum 7-11 months of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of family violence and trauma-informed practices
• Good documentation and organizational skills
• Cultural competency and respect for diverse backgrounds
Assist women in overcoming barriers to housing stability at YWCA Regina.
