Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Coordinate and plan meetings/sessions with elders

Maintain personal timesheets/vacation/sick days.

Facilitate and supervise cultural activities under the guidance of the TCP coordinator, executive director and elder.

Ensure the proper care and safety of the children.

De‑escalate situations and mediate during conflicts with families.

Respond to the emotional needs of families in crisis.

Document daily interactions.

Ensure a safe and secure environment by following policies and procedures.

Provide transportation as needed.

Maintain a high standard of health and safety procedures.

Administration and Reporting:
The TCP Family Service Consultant will report accurate and necessary information to ensure proper reporting and processes, these include:

Document incidents.

Daily shift documentation and overview.

Keep an accurate logbook of activities.

Attend staff meetings when required.

Other duties as may be required from time to time as directed by management.

Effective Communication.

Ensure that confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Manage own workload and prioritize work.

Work unsupervised, recognizing one's own limitations and professional boundaries and seek appropriate assistance when needed.

Ability to work untraditional hours, may include statutory holidays.
