As part of the Child and Family Programs within the Ministry of Social Services, you will take on the responsibility of interviewing families, assessing risks, and advocating for clients in crisis. This role requires adaptability and effective communication to ensure client needs are met promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interview families experiencing emergencies
• Assess risks and determine service needs
• Accurately document all case information
• Create and review case plans periodically
• Advocate for clients and coordinate resources
Requirements:
• Knowledge of human services policies and practices
• Understanding of First Nations and Metis cultures
• Exceptional communication and digital skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel
• Capacity to lift children weighing up to 20 kg
