In this position, you will work closely with immigrant and refugee clients to conduct needs assessments, develop tailored settlement plans, and provide information on accessing community services.
Your role will also involve facilitating workshops that cover essential settlement topics and conducting outreach to enhance community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess individual and family needs with standardized tools
• Create and implement personalized settlement action plans
• Provide supportive referrals for various community services
• Facilitate orientation sessions on key topics for newcomers
• Record and report on all client interactions and progress
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or a related area
• Minimum two years experience in settlement or case management
• Familiarity with immigrant experiences and challenges
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Proficient in English; additional languages are advantageous
