• The ministry is seeking accountable, collaborative, adaptable, and client-focused individuals who can build effective relationships with clients, families, community partners, and colleagues.
• Candidates should have an understanding of First Nations and Mtis cultures, poverty, systemic barriers, and socio-economic issues affecting individuals and families.
• Candidates must have knowledge of human services policies, practices, and procedures, typically gained through a diploma or degree in a human services-related field and/or relevant experience.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, interpersonal, digital, and decision-­making skills are required.
• Applicants must be eligible to operate a vehicle in Saskatchewan, travel throughout rural and urban communities, work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and be able to lift and carry small children up to approximately 20 kg.

The Ministry of Social Services, Child and Family Programs is seeking Emergency Duty Workers for permanent part-time, on-call rotational positions in Swift Current and area.

Employees provide after-hours emergency services to families and receive standby pay while on rotation.
