In this Team Leader position within the Ministry of Community Safety, you will oversee youth programs for ages 12 to 17, ensuring effective safety and supervision. Your responsibilities include providing assessment, counselling, and case management, while modelling integrity and respect. Experience in social work principles and youth justice is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide positive leadership and programming for youth
• Conduct assessments and manage cases effectively
• Supervise and ensure safety in youth custody
• De-escalate potential crisis situations promptly
• Serve as a positive role model for youth
Requirements:
• University degree in Social Sciences or related discipline
• Diploma in Correctional Studies or equivalent experience
• Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver’s License
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification
• Complete paid Induction Training Program as needed
