Position: Full-Time Indigenous Wellness Support Worker
Step into the role of Indigenous Family Wellness Support Worker at Newo Yotina Friendship Centre in Regina. Provide critical support for Indigenous women, Two-Spirit, and gender-diverse people facing violence.

This full-time position emphasizes culturally safe, trauma-informed support to individuals and families impacted by violence. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver support to clients facing or at risk of violence

• Assist in developing tailored safety plans and responses

• Facilitate educational groups and prevention programs

• Advocate for clients’ needs across systems

• Promote healthy relationships and accountability in the community

Requirements:

• Educational background with some post-secondary completion

• 1-2 years of experience in similar roles

• Knowledge of Indigenous community practices and needs

• Excellent advocacy and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical support practices
