Support residents in a supportive housing setting through administrative coordination, facility tasks, and respectful assistance during shifts. Maintain records and respond to resident needs.
As a Resident Services Worker with The Salvation Army, you will support tenants, staff, and program delivery. Your work includes laundry, food service preparation, light cleaning, administrative tasks, and incident reporting. You will also provide guidance, empathy, and practical support while following policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete assigned cleaning and organizing tasks
- Assist with laundry, food preparation, and light cleaning
- Provide advice, guidance, and support to residents
- Log incidents and record relevant tenant information
- Coach participants and document assigned chore completion
- Willingness to support The Salvation Army's mission
- Compliance with health and safety policies
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Availability to work shifts with a pager or walkie-talkie
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
