Capco is searching for an Android Developer in Calgary, offering a hybrid opportunity to create impactful applications for the financial services sector. Bring your innovative spirit to a collaborative team.
As an Android Developer with over 5 years of experience, you will focus on Cordova plugins, maintain the Android codebase, and assist in enhancing user experience. Collaborate across teams to resolve any technical issues affecting development, while mentoring web developers in hybrid app building skills.
Your role will be crucial in ensuring high-quality app performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain custom Cordova plugins
• Address feedback and crash reports from production
• Conduct annual codebase maintenance
• Work with teams on software and administrative issues
• Provide training on hybrid app debugging techniques
Requirements:
• 5+ years of Android development expertise
• Reside in Calgary for on-site work
• Strong background in API development
• Knowledge of Java, interest in Kotlin
• Clear communication skills in English
