About the Project:
Systematix is supporting a major provincial utility organization’s Nuclear Business Technology team as part of ongoing enterprise modernization and application development initiatives. The successful candidate will join a collaborative development team focused on building modern front-end user interfaces and reusable application components for mission‑critical nuclear business systems.
The team is specifically seeking a Front End (UI) developer to work alongside existing back‑end developers to support development, testing, optimization, deployment, and ongoing enhancement of custom web applications within a highly regulated enterprise environment.
About the Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain modern front‑end web applications and reusable UI components
Build responsive Single Page Applications (SPAs) using React and Type Script
Develop reusable design systems and component libraries
Collaborate with business stakeholders, designers, and technical teams to deliver intuitive user experiences
Implement WCAG accessibility standards and user‑friendly failover/error handling patterns
Support front‑end observability including logging, monitoring, and performance optimization
Integrate front‑end applications with various back‑end architectures, APIs, and communication protocols
Participate in code reviews, peer collaboration, and documentation activities
Consume and support CI/CD pipelines for deployment and release management
Contribute to front‑end architecture, standards, and development best practices
Support testing activities including unit testing and application validation
Maintain source code and version control using Git
Requirements – Must‑have:
5+ years of Front‑End web application development experience
Strong proficiency with React, HTML5, CSS3, Type Script, and Java Script
Experience with Tailwind, Sass, or similar CSS frameworks
Experience with Tan Stack, Vite, Next.js, or similar React ecosystems
Strong understanding of WCAG accessibility standards
Experience building design systems and reusable component libraries
Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, or similar testing frameworks
Experience using Git and working with CI/CD pipelines
Requirements – Nice‑to‑have:
Familiarity with modern .NET frameworks
Experience with serverless containers, and IaaS/PaaS hosting platforms
Experience with in utility, energy, or regulated enterprise environments

Pay Disclosure:
Intermediate Front‑End Developer (5–8 years): $60–$80/hr
Senior Front‑End Developer (8+ years): $80–$90/hr
Compensation is commensurate with experience and alignment with Saskatchewan public‑sector market benchmarks.
