Key Responsibilities:
• Build and operate large-scale distributed SQL databases
• Design and execute schema migrations without downtime
• Own the networking stack and optimize for performance
• Lead engineers through project goals and challenges
• Collaborate with product management and stakeholders during development
Requirements:
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Python, Kotlin, AWS, and Kubernetes
• In-depth knowledge of SQL performance optimization
• Experience with database automation in production
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes networking and failover
