On-Call Paratransit Driver

Transdev Canada is hiring an On-Call Paratransit Driver in Regina to support individuals with disabilities and mobility challenges. Your expertise will ensure safe and dignified transportation services.

As a Paratransit Driver, your primary responsibilities include operating the bus safely while providing assistance to passengers with mobility needs. You will conduct pre-trip inspections, maintain communication with your team, and ensure the bus meets cleanliness standards. This casual role requires flexibility in scheduling, with shifts varying throughout the week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Paratransit vehicles in compliance with safety laws

• Assist riders with boarding, securing wheelchairs, and exiting

• Conduct regular pre-trip inspections to ensure safety

• Log bus trips and maintain clear communication with dispatch

• Clean and sanitize the bus according to protocols

Requirements:

• Valid Class 4 SK Driver’s Licence, clean driving record

• Strong background in customer service

• Ability to navigate Regina's road network is a plus

• Experience with passengers with disabilities is preferred

• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
