Nu-Fab, a leader in engineered wood products, is seeking a Forklift Operator and Yard Support. Be part of a safety-focused team committed to exceptional service in this important role.
In this position, you will report to the Shipping Supervisor and play a key role in the Shipping Department. Your responsibilities will include accurately packing lumber, loading/unloading trucks, and ensuring a clean yard space. You'll also perform daily inspections on the forklift and manage incoming shipments to maintain an efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Package lumber orders for accurate customer delivery
• Load/unload trucks and trailers, and rotate stock
• Keep the yard organized and free from debris
• Complete all shipping paperwork accurately
• Serve customers and drivers with professionalism
Requirements:
• Proven forklift operation experience
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving is a plus
• Background in lumber or manufacturing beneficial
• Adaptability and efficient multitasking abilities
• Strong commitment to a clean work environment
