As a Machine Operator 1, your responsibilities will include maintaining Loram’s specialized railway machinery. Candidates should possess a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills. You will oversee machine functionality, ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance are maintained throughout operations and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate railway equipment safely in various modes
• Report defects and perform requested repairs
• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance and inspections
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols
• Conduct effective job briefings and training sessions
Requirements:
• 2+ years of relevant technical experience
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Valid driver’s license and CPR/First Aid certification
• Willingness to travel 100% for assignments
• Ability to work under extreme conditions
