In this position, you’ll be pivotal in maintaining transit vehicles in optimal condition. You'll perform fuelling, minor repairs, and ensure cleanliness. Additionally, you will be responsible for reporting vehicle issues and preparing coaches for daily routes, all while operating under the guidance of the Supervisor of Maintenance and Equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute essential vehicle servicing functions
• Inspect and address vehicle condition and maintenance needs
• Manage cash security during farebox operations
• Designate transit assignments for next day's routes
• Complete housekeeping tasks within departmental premises
Requirements:
• Grade 10 education and completed first-year mechanical trades
• Hold a valid 1A driver's license
• Willing to work varying hours
• Criminal record check needed for employment
• Submit proof of educational qualifications
