Mortlach Route Bus Driver Position

Location: Moose Jaw

Step into a vital role as a Bus Driver for Prairie South School Division on the Mortlach #1 route from September 2, 2026, to June 25, 2027. Your commitment will ensure student safety daily.

This temporary position entails providing essential transportation for students on their way to school. You will drive morning and afternoon routes, focusing on safe and efficient student transport. Reporting to the Transportation Manager, you will uphold the highest safety standards throughout your routes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the school bus along the designated route

• Maintain safe driving practices at all times

• Follow established traffic laws and protocols

• Keep a clear and updated drivers abstract

• Document and report any bus-related incidents

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Class drivers license with School Bus Endorsement

• Clean drivers abstract as required by the Board

• Successfully pass a medical evaluation

• Training in first aid or defensive driving is preferred

• Clear background check including a criminal records check

Ensure the safety of Mortlach students by delivering reliable and punctual bus service.
