Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Associate to join our team. This role involves transporting goods safely and promptly to various locations, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the integrity of deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, experience in warehouse or commercial driving, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks.### Duties
* Safely operate delivery vehicles, including commercial trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
* Load and unload items using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
* Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products while adhering to scheduled routes.
* Assist with moving heavy or bulky items, utilizing proper techniques and equipment to prevent injury.
* Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries.
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
* Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
* Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities.### Requirements
* Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred; a standard driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
* Experience in warehouse operations, heavy lifting, or forklift operation is desirable.
* Strong communication skills to coordinate deliveries effectively and interact with customers professionally.
* Ability to handle physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and moving items safely.
* Prior experience in commercial driving or delivery services is a plus.
* Good organizational skills with attention to detail for route planning and documentation.
* Ability to work independently, follow safety procedures, and maintain punctuality.
* Physical capability to stand, lift, move, and carry items as needed throughout the shift.
