The role of a Class B CDL Driver at United Rentals involves delivering equipment to customers in a safe, timely, efficient, and courteous manner while representing the company as a courteous ambassador. The position promotes career advancement and supports the company’s growth.

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate heavy equipment such as semi‑trucks and trailers consistent with DOT classification CDL‑B.
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Maintain driver logs and complete pre‑trip inspections.
• Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customers’ other needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Valid Class B CDL with an acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of DOT regulated commercial driving experience.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Strong attention to safety.

This position is deemed Safety Sensitive in accordance with United Rentals policies.
