Drive safety initiatives at SIX AXLE TRANSPORTATION LTD. as a full-time Safety and Compliance Lead in Regina. This pivotal role concentrates on maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance.
In this position, you’ll ensure the safe operation of our trucking fleet by monitoring drivers and their performance. Your responsibilities will include tracking driver hours, managing incident reporting, and coordinating training sessions. You will engage with management and drivers to foster a robust safety culture and enhance operational practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Track and monitor driver Hours of Service logs with ELD
• Conduct safety training and new driver orientations
• Investigate incidents and manage accident claims
• Schedule safety meetings for continuous improvement
• Prepare documentation for audits and compliance checks
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year experience in trucking safety
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and One Drive
• Strong interpersonal skills for driver management
• Attention to detail for record keeping
• Experience with safety protocol implementation
