In this role, you will handle the safe operation of dump trucks, performing vehicle inspections, and ensuring preventive maintenance is conducted regularly. Additionally, you will relay information to dispatch and secure cargo effectively. Strong oral communication skills are necessary for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and manage dump trucks safely

• Conduct comprehensive vehicle pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections

• Perform necessary vehicle maintenance and repairs

• Communicate with central dispatch regarding tasks

• Ensure cargo is tarped and maintained securely

Requirements:

• Must hold a Class 1/1F/A License with an Air Brakes Endorsement

• Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract

• Expertise in vehicle inspection reporting

• Flexibility for shift work availability

• Strong reliability and time management skills
