Shuttle Driver

Fed Ex Canada is hiring a Part-Time Shuttle Driver at their Regina, Saskatchewan facility. This role involves loading and unloading freight, scanning and sorting packages, and transporting freight within and between facilities using a non-articulated vehicle.
Expected shift:  07:00 AM to 12:00 PM (noon). This is a part-time, regular position.
Responsibilities     Perform shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle
Load and unload company vehicles and containers
Audit size and weight of packages
Separate packages by service type and destination per established procedures
Scan packages using computerized tracking equipment
Ensure use of safety procedures in handling of packages
Ensure proper security of Fed Ex Canada and customer property
Clean, wash and perform minor maintenance to vehicles as necessary
Conform to regulations established by local airport authorities
Operate vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently, complying with all government regulations and company procedures
Perform temperature control functions where required, including troubleshooting temperature control units on road and adhering to cargo area procedures

Required Qualifications     High school diploma or educational equivalent
Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrency training
Valid, fully unrestricted Class 5 or Class G driver's licence with a good driving record (no more than two violations/accidents in the past 24 months)
Ability to lift 70 lbs or manoeuvre packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance
Good interpersonal skills
Some knowledge of Fed Ex Express Canada operations and Canadian customs regulations is an asset
High school diploma or equivalent; valid Class 5 or Class G driver's licence with a clean driving record; ability to lift 70 lbs and manoeuvre packages up to 150 lbs; ability to complete all required training.
