Become a Bus Driver with Prairie Valley School Division, providing safe transportation for students to school and related activities. Your skills will be integral to their daily journeys.
As a committed Bus Driver, you will ensure safety and compliance with traffic laws while fostering a supportive environment for children. This role requires independent operation of a school bus, emphasizing knowledge of regulations and positive interactions with students. Your guidance will help shape their growth and experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate the school bus safely and efficiently
• Adhere to all traffic safety regulations
• Manage student behavior with positive approaches
• Work independently with minimal oversight
• Submit a clear driving abstract and records
Requirements:
• Valid Saskatchewan Class 1-5 Driver's License
• Required School Bus Endorsement or willingness to obtain
• No major infractions on driver's abstract
• Pass medical examinations in accordance with the law
• First Aid Certification or ability to secure one
