Our large trucking company in Regina is actively seeking a knowledgeable Safety Officer to ensure compliance with key safety programs like COR, C-TPAT, FAST, and AVETTA. You will deliver orientation to new employees and provide necessary training on Department of Transport regulations as they pertain to the trucking sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Uphold safety certifications including COR, C-TPAT, FAST
• Train and orient new employees effectively
• Ensure compliance with Dept of Transport regulations
• Evaluate and enhance safety measures
• Respond to safety-related queries via e-mail
Requirements:
• Experience in safety management is favorable, training provided
• Knowledge of safety protocols in trucking is an asset
• Relevant training certificates are preferred
