As a Class 1 Truck Driver at Varsteel Regina, you will need at least two years of driving experience. This physically demanding role focuses on loading and unloading goods while complying with safety and vehicle performance protocols. You'll also provide customer service and assist in the yard when required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Navigate local short-haul routes with tractor-trailers
• Perform loading and unloading activities on site
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Keep electronic driver logs and relevant documentation
• Oversee vehicle condition and maintain cleanliness
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent is essential
• Valid Class 1 Driver's License and Air Brake (Z) endorsement required
• Experience of 2 to 3 years in driving
• Must be able to manage weights above 45 kg (100 lbs)
• Proficient in English, both verbal and written
