As a Letter Carrier, you will enjoy the outdoors while sorting and delivering essential mail on assigned routes. This temporary position is perfect for individuals who take pride in their work and are ready to embrace changing weather conditions. Canada Post provides extensive training to ensure you operate efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort and prepare deliveries each morning at the depot
• Safely load and operate a Canada Post postal vehicle
• Deliver mail and packages by foot or vehicle along your route
• Maintain a professional demeanor in all customer interactions
• Return to the depot to unload incoming mail and parcels
Requirements:
• Clean Class 5 or Class G driver's licence for 3 years minimum
• Capable of lifting mail items consistently throughout the day
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• On-call availability for temporary work as needed
• Delivery or driving experience is beneficial
