Full-Time Weapons Supply Clerk role

Become a Weapons Supply Clerk with the Ontario Provincial Police. In this full-time role, you will manage inventory and oversee the shipping and receiving processes.

This exciting position is within the Fleet, Supply, and Weapons Services Bureau, where expertise in inventory control is crucial. You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, processing orders, and ensuring the safe disposal of equipment. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to strict safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all shipping and receiving tasks in the unit

• Maintain accurate inventory controls and documentation

• Monitor inventory levels consistently

• Ensure proper destruction of OPP equipment

• Use specialized software for inventory management

Requirements:

• Ability to successfully pass a thorough security investigation

• Completion of relevant training in firearms safety

• Capability to lift and transport heavy equipment

• Familiar with safety protocols regarding hazardous materials

• Knowledge and skill in computer operation required
