JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Clerk plays a vital role in our logistics operations, handling shipping, receiving, and inventory management while ensuring compliance with cleanliness and safety protocols. This position supports both the parts sales team and external sales representatives by efficiently responding to quote and fulfillment requests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Coordinate outbound shipments, including picking, packing, and loading, to ensure timely delivery.

Manage incoming shipping activities, verifying accuracy, completeness, and condition of all shipments.

Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts to maintain optimal stock levels.

Document and record product transfers accurately.

Enter data into the ERP system and maintain up-to-date reports.

Verify and maintain detailed records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Prepare items for shipping, receiving, storage, and inventory management.

Utilize knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates to optimize operations.

Create and submit damage claims to carriers as necessary.

Review shipping records for accuracy and compliance, promptly notifying the purchasing manager of low stock levels.

Compile records of unfulfilled orders as needed.

Calculate shipping weights and charges; prepare bills of lading accurately.

Report any discrepancies to the immediate supervisor in a timely manner.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Adhere to company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety regulations.

Uphold professionalism in all interactions and responsibilities.

Demonstrate reliability and punctuality in reporting to work as scheduled.

Perform additional duties of a similar nature as required.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION

High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Factory/Warehouse and forklift experience preferred.

Microsoft Office experience or training preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

General knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving processes.

Proficient in warehouse management software applications.
