, is looking for an Outpatient Cardiac Sonographer, Casual (8 hours/ 1 day per week), to work at our Rehoboth Office.

To perform diagnostic echocardiograms in adherence to the American Society of Echo Cardiography and to assist physicians in the diagnosis of cardiac disease.

• Prefer IV experience to perform contrast and bubble studies.
• Performs 2D, M-Mode, CW, PW, and Color Flow Doppler echocardiograms.
• Demonstrates skills and knowledge necessary to provide quality and quantitative echocardiograms for adult and geriatric populations.
• Accurately present completed echocardiograms to physicians.
• Demonstrate ability to recognize normal and abnormal echocardiograms.

• Associates Degree preferred.
• Certification from ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, RDCS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (Registered Cardiovascular Technologist, RCVT), or a new graduate of an accredited ultrasound program who meets registry eligibility.
• CPR certification.

Hourly Pay Range: $35.39 - $56.63. This pay rate/range represents Christiana Care's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
