, is looking for an Outpatient Cardiac Sonographer, Casual (8 hours/ 1 day per week), to work at our Rehoboth Office.

PRIMARY FUNCTION
:

To perform diagnostic echocardiograms in adherence to the American Society of Echo Cardiography and to assist physicians in the diagnosis of cardiac disease.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
:

• Prefer IV experience to perform contrast and bubble studies.

• Performs 2D, M-Mode, CW, PW, and Color Flow Doppler echocardiograms

• Demonstrates skills and knowledge necessary to provide quality and quantitative echocardiograms for adult and geriatric populations

• Accurately present completed echocardiograms to physicians.

• Demonstrate ability to recognize normal and abnormal echocardiograms

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
:

• Associates Degree preferred.

• Certification from ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, RDCS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (Registered Cardiovascular Technologist, RCVT), or a new graduate of an accredited ultrasound program who meets registry eligibility.

• CPR certification

Hourly Pay Range: $35.39 - $56.63

This pay rate/range represents Christiana Care's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
