Job Title: Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)

Location: Rehoboth, DE

Employment Type: Part-Time (>32 hours)

Shift: Variable shifts

Base Pay Range: $25.00/hr – $43.00/hr

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiologic principles and anatomy, provide high-quality imaging, and ensure patient safety while adhering to department protocols. Recent hospital experience is preferred.

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using the most appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
• Communicate effectively with patients to obtain clinical history, informed consent, and ease patient anxiety.
• Recognize and address clinical or emergent issues that may interfere with exams.
• Maintain accurate patient identification and documentation, and ensure compliance with department procedures.
• Follow radiation safety protocols, maintaining exposure levels “As Low As Reasonably Achievable” (ALARA).
• Operate imaging equipment according to manufacturer specifications and stay updated on technological advancements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including managing supplies and equipment.
• Assist in teaching radiography students as required.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, in-services, and department meetings.
• Be available for on-call, shift, holiday, and weekend coverage as required.

• Delaware State Radiology License (Licensed in the state of Delaware)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Associate’s Degree in a related field
• Recent hospital experience preferred
• Basic computer skills
