Position Overview
My Client is a freshly renovated 34-room oceanfront boutique property in the heart of Dewey Beach, Delaware. We offer relaxed yet refined coastal hospitality with authentic charm, thoughtful amenities, and a distinctive East Coast personality.
We are seeking a passionate, hands‑on General Manager to lead daily operations and bring our boutique vision to life. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a high‑touch, seasonal environment and enjoys being present on the floor as a host, leader, and brand ambassador.
ResponsibilitiesThe General Manager will oversee all hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, breakfast service, and evening social experiences. Responsibilities include leading the full guest journey, building and motivating a cross‑trained team, managing budgets and P&L performance, and driving occupancy, ADR, and guest satisfaction. The role also partners closely with ownership on marketing, community engagement, and creative initiatives that define the hotel’s personality.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate has 3+ years of hotel management experience, preferably in boutique or lifestyle hospitality, with a proven hands‑on leadership style. Experience in coastal or seasonal markets, comfort with social media and online reputation management, and familiarity with modern PMS platforms are strongly preferred.
