We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to manage and grow our online presence across all social platforms. This role is responsible for developing engaging content, strengthening brand awareness, and supporting marketing initiatives through consistent, strategic social media activity. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who understands current trends, platforms, and analytics, and can translate business goals into compelling digital storytelling.
Key Responsibilities- Content Creation & Management: Plan, create, and publish high-quality content (photo, video, graphics, copy) across all social media platforms; maintain a consistent posting schedule aligned with brand voice and business priorities; manage content calendars and ensure timely execution of campaigns and announcements; capture on-site content at events, job sites, or company initiatives as needed.
- Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute social media strategies that support organizational goals; stay up-to-date on platform trends, emerging technologies, and best practices; provide recommendations to enhance reach, engagement, and overall performance.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track key performance metrics across platforms and prepare monthly reports; use insights to optimize content, posting schedules, and campaign strategies; monitor competitor activity and industry benchmarks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of proven experience managing social media for a business or brand.
- Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
- Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout, Later) and analytics platforms.
- Experience with basic photo/video editing software (Canva, Adobe Suite, Cap Cut, etc.).
- Knowledge of current social trends, platform best practices, and emerging media opportunities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
