Job Title: Microbiology Lab Tech
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Schedule: 12-hr shift | On-Site
Location: Greensboro, NC
We are seeking a Micro Lab Specialist to oversee the daily testing for our product. This position will report to the Quality Supervisor and will be responsible for ensuring that all testing is completed timely and accurately based on our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct microbiological testing and analysis on raw materials (including raw water, intermediate water, purified water), packaging materials, semi-finished products, finished products, stability samples, workshop environment, equipment cleaning and disinfection, etc., in accordance with current valid microbiological testing methods.
- Perform environmental sampling and testing of sedimentation bacteria, planktonic bacteria, suspended particles, workbench surfaces, personal hygiene, etc., in the microbiology laboratory.
- Complete environmental sampling of sedimentation bacteria, planktonic bacteria, suspended particles, workshop equipment surfaces, workbench personal hygiene, etc. and timely complete relevant ledgers for sample reporting.
- Assist in OOS result investigation and action plan development.
- Conduct tests in accordance with customer standard documents and assist in validating the effectiveness of new customer testing methods.
- Record all original test data and ensure their accuracy.
- Receive, subculture, store, use, and destroy bacterial strains, and timely completing relevant records.
- Conduct quality control testing of culture media and related reagents.
- Perform daily operation recording, internal calibration, maintenance, and timely repair reporting for instruments and public facilities in the microbiology laboratory; timely check the calibration status of equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Lead and implement 6S management in the laboratory.
- Assist in sampling and testing involved in process validation and cleaning validation and assist in completing qualification of relevant equipment.
Experience: minimum 1 years of experience in microbiology
Skills: Strong problem-solving, and organizational skills;
Knowledge of safety regulations
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required;
Degree in a related study preferred
