genU is looking for a passionate & enthusiastic Physical Health & Wellbeing Consultant to conduct initial assessments, developing and monitoring individualized exercise programs, making adjustments as needed providing optimal person-centred outcomes

As a Physical Health & Wellbeing Consultant in our Matchworks team you’ll:

• Work with individuals on a one-to-one basis and in groups to support those experiencing physical health and or wellbeing concerns.
• Conduct a range of assessments including functional capacity evaluation, musculoskeletal and fitness, worksite and ergonomic.
• Prescribe clinical exercise with a focus on work conditioning and strengthening modelled on client focused short term interventions.
• Deliver psycho-educational, work conditioning, manual handling, chronic pain management and strengthening group-based program.

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or equivalent with a masters /graduate diploma in Exercise Physiology
• Accredited Exercise Physiologist registered with ESSA (Exercise and Sports Science Australia).
• Demonstrated ability to apply evidence based and best practice therapeutic approaches.
• Possess exceptional organisational abilities to facilitate the prioritisation and effective management of key duties

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)

• Experience in the Disability Sector
• Previous experience in a similar role
