We will accept new grads or experienced therapists!
Come join our Annie Penn Rehab team to experience a variety of patient care, all in one place. We have 7 PTs and 2 PTAs, as well as OTs and SLPs that treat across the lifespan. Located in the heart of Reidsville, less than a 30-minute drive from Greensboro, our therapists qualify for "rural" pay - an additional $2.50/hour. We treat patients one-on-one for 45-minute sessions.
This is a salaried position with competitive benefits including paid time off, medical, dental, vision, 403B, free Employee Assistance Program, paid parental leave, paid education days, and more. The position involves providing care to pediatric clients. Common diagnoses include autism, developmental delays, sensory processing disorder, genetic disorders, neurological conditions, etc. Feeding experience or interest is a plus, not mandatory. Experience with behavior management is essential.
The Occupational Therapist II evaluates patients' conditions, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitative programs to facilitate return to optimal functioning, improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformity. This includes patient and family education. The therapist treats all patients confidently and advocates for their needs, initiating communication with interdisciplinary team members. Mentoring may be required in complex cases, and cross-coverage to other settings might be challenging.
Responsibilities include:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
Experience: Minimum 3 years
Licensure/Certification: Licensed by the North Carolina Occupational Therapy Board; BLS (CPR) from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants.
