Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, active listening, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Leads change efforts, sets clear expectations, and guides teams to implement business solutions and meet business objectives. Models exceptional customer service and supports customer service initiatives, issues resolution, and process improvements to ensure a high-quality customer experience.

Drives financial performance by reviewing P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses; ensures effective merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and shrink mitigation to achieve sales and profit goals. Develops and implements action plans, supports hourly associates, hires, trains, mentors, assigns duties, and promotes a belonging mindset. Maintains relationships with stakeholders, supports plans and initiatives, tracks progress, and fosters continuous learning. Ensures compliance with company policies and supports the mission, values, ethics, and integrity of the organization.

• Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, setting expectations, recognition, and promoting belonging in the workplace.
• Coordinate and oversee job-related activities, build relationships with stakeholders, support plans to meet customer and business needs, communicate goals, and measure progress.
• Lead a high-performing team, collaborate across functions, and promote a culture of learning and adaptability.

Minimum Qualifications — Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific background check and training may be required.
• For facilities with ammunition and state requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Preferred Qualifications — Optional qualifications that may enhance candidacy.

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University;
  Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University; experience supervising 5+ direct reports including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.

The annual salary range is $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 with potential performance bonuses. Benefits include health, vision, dental, 401(k), stock purchase, life insurance, paid time off, and additional programs such as Live Better U education benefits. Eligibility and terms vary by plan and length of employment.
